Richmond Highland Games …Get your Kilt on!

The Richmond Highland Games returned November 4 and 5, 2023 to a new location at beautiful Dorey Park and Recreation Center in Henrico County.

 

This awesome tradition will feature all things Celtic including Bagpipe Bands, Highland and Irish Dance competitions, delicious Irish Coffee, Harp and Fiddle Competitions, Gaelic Hurling, Rugby, Heavy Athletic Competitions, Caber tossing, hammer throws, tasty traditional foods, scotch eggs, fish and chips, scones, and many more delicious treats.  Bring the wee ones to play in the open fields, decorate pumpkins and enjoy the festivities.  
 

Find your clan and research your family history among the multiple Clans and Societies who will be present around the Highland Games field and get your shopping done with fabulous Highland and Celtic vendors and craftspeople. Watch an authentic blacksmith craft incredible tools and art out of iron.  Enjoy live music both days featuring Albannach, the Fighting Jamesons, Tan and Sober Gentlemen, Glasgow Kiss, Donnybrook, The Press Gang and Clan Haggis.

PET Policy: You may bring your pet. You will be asked at the gate to pay $5 and bring an up to date rabies vaccination record. Pets must be well-behaved and on a leash. Please pick up after your pet.

NO FIREARMS POLICY: No firearms permitted at the Festival. 

*NO Outside Coolers or Alcohol permitted. You may bring your own camp chair but we will have many folding chairs to watch the entertainment. 

 

All proceeds to benefit the Cullather Cancer Quality of Life Center at Bon Secours as well as St Patrick's Catholic Church and other local charities.
