What time do the GATES open?
9am both days!

May I buy tickets at the Gate?
Yes, you may but prices are higher on the day of the event so consider buying in advance at TICKET SALES. We will close down advanced sales at 11:59pm Friday, November 3rd.

If I buy a ticket in advance, what do I bring to the event?
You will receive a barcode via email confirmation so save that! Show it at the gate to be scanned. OR print out your ticket and bring the barcode. We will have ticket support on site if you have trouble.
May I get a refund on my purchased ticket?
No refunds are offered on tickets. This is a RAIN or SHINE charity event!
Is parking free for public?
Yes, General Parking is free to our visitors. Please follow the parking attendants' direction to keep the line moving. A special parking permit will be given with purchased Vendor and Clan registration packages.

Is there handicap accessible parking?
Yes, Please show the kind folks your handicap pass who are directing traffic, they will point you to our dedicated Handicap Lot.

May I bring my dog to Richmond Highland Games?
Yes! You must buy yourself a ticket, pay $5 for your dog and bring proof of rabies vaccination! Pup must stay on the leash at all times. Please pick up after your pet!

May I bring a personal cooler in the event?
No, Outside food and beverages are not allowed at this event. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be offered for sale to consume on event grounds. Plus, we will have plenty of food vendors to enjoy.

May I bring in a camp chair?
Yes, you may. We will also have folding chairs setup to watch the competitions and music throughout the event.

May I leave the event and return on the same day without paying again?
Yes, we will have a EXIT where you may get your hand-stamped to return the SAME day.

May I bring a firearm into the event?
No firearms allowed. For the safety of all guests, Henrico County police and fire will be there to support our efforts for a wonderful day.

May I ride my bike down the Capital Trail to arrive at the Richmond Highland Games?
Sure, just bring your bike lock to secure your bicycle. We can't be responsible for lost or stolen items.

Will there be camping available?
No, Tent camping will not be offered at Dorey Park and Recreation Center. We will have limited parking for RVs but no hook up options. Contact us for details.
